The Sun and the Moon

A picture of Raikou and Neverstorm singing together. It's either an egregiously OOC moment or an image song (probably the second *laughs*). What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than to have these two serenade you? Their voices DO make the fangirls swoon, after all.

The title, as well as the lyrics (if you read Japanese) come from the image song from The King of Fighters series, The Sun and Moon, sung by Kyo and Iori (who, I believe, share quite a bit in common with these two!) The lyrics could work either way given each of the guys personalities, so I opted to give Raikou the lyrics sung by Iori and Nev the ones sung by Kyo, just to match the tones in their voices (Raikou having a deeper voice).

As for the art... Well, I actually used a TON of references for this, so I feel the lineart came out pretty well (HOLY CRAP NEVERSTORM'S BODY HAS A DIFFERENT MUSCULAR STUCTURE THAN THE ONE I ALWAYS DRAW). I loved drawing Raikou's new outfit and experimenting with the design. Nev's hair was also a ton of fun, and you can TELL I had way more fun drawing Nev's sleeves! The shading, on the other hand... It's terrible.
